Originally intended as a trip to visit Leh, landslides and a cloudburst (which buried parts of Leh and killed many) prevented us from reaching Ladakh. We got as far as Pang, where a series of landslides stopped us. Up to that point, we had been undeterred by other landslides, washed out roads, and deep mud. The closures forced us to spend two nights in tents in the Himalayas, which made this trip an adventure of a lifetime!
